About Us

We founded through a Pró-Bono Regime and supported since it's foundation, formally in 28.07.2009, the private legal entity, a national, non profit Association named "Associação de Equitação Adaptada Barlavento", which Social purpose is, according to Article Three of it's Bylaws:

1. To provide support to children and young people, who are physically disabled and others;
2. Promote, coordinate and organize horse riding sports for children with physical disabilities, and others; 
3. Provide training courses for horse riding;
4. Outdoor games;
5. Art Activities;
6. Gardening Courses;
7. Practice of  Adapted Sailing.
